Loss
& bereavement
There are
many ways we can experience loss, the most obvious being the death of
someone close to us - a parent, a child, a partner, close friends.
But other
losses can occur - when relationships end, changes in jobs, retirement
(especially if enforced), moving
areas - these events can all cause similar effects to a bereavement. We
can feel very down, unmotivated and loose meaning to our lives. Counselling
can offer support through this time and explore ways, when the time is
right, to find purpose in our lives again.
